Welcome to Sunderland ITeC online

Sunderland City Information Technology Centre (ITeC) was established in 1982 to help deliver high quality work-based learning. We are based close to Sunderland City Centre in purpose designed premises on the Southwick Industrial Estate. We have almost three decades of experience in delivering flexible and individually tailored training that has been achieved by working closely with local employers and other key partners.

Over the years we have been privileged to receive a steady stream of over 2000 learners through our doors and whilst this is a significant number, we have always concentrated on the quality of our provision and our priority is to give people the skills and qualifications that local employers want and need. As a result, we have seen steady growth in student numbers and the current average number of students we train each year now totals 130.

It is important to us that our learners attain qualifications that will enhance their prospects of finding employment and successful, worthwhile careers.
